The sale of 2 acres at Plot 1b on the north of Broadland Gate has completed with LNT Care Developments, following the grant of planning consent in May. Located adjacent to the Poppy Way entrance of the estate, the plot boasts prominent roadside frontage and will provide LNT with an easily accessible location for the community.

Construction of the new 66 bed, three storey care home has now commenced, with an anticipated completion date of Autumn 2022. The care home developer is currently constructing 18 care home schemes across England, with the Broadland Gate development adding to an established and emerging pipeline of care sites across the East of England.

Once complete, the purpose-built care home will provide a high-quality facility for elderly people in the local community. The scheme will incorporate 66 en suite care beds across three floors, with modern amenities including a cinema, library, tea shop and hair salon, surrounded by secure landscaped gardens. The care home will create jobs for approximately 60 people in the local area, with 42 full-time staff and 20 part-time roles.
