New cycleways and pedestrian paths will increase public access and facilitate sustainable modes of transport to and from the site. Mature oaks and ash trees will be retained and protected.
New belts of planting would provide foraging and commuting opportunities for birds such as blackbird and the pipistrelle bat which have been recorded on site. New grassland and wildflower meadow habitat will be managed to increase the food source for invertebrates and birds while providing a stimulating and natural environment in which to works or relax.
